This is a very simple recipe for sautéed okra and tomatoes. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family does.
Ingredients
- 2 slices bacon
- 1 pound frozen okra , thawed and sliced
- 1 small onion , chopped
- 0.5 greens bell pepper , chopped
- 2 celery , chopped
- 1 , 14.5 ounce
- salt and pepper to taste

Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly browned and crisp. Drain; crumble bacon onto a plate and set aside.

Add okra, onion, pepper, and celery to the pan; sauté until tender. Add tomatoes, salt, and pepper; cook and stir until tomatoes are heated through.

Garnish with crumbled bacon.
