This oven-fried potatoes recipe is the perfect side for steak. These crispy potatoes roasted with butter, onion, and bacon hit the spot. Splurge and use all the butter. It doesn't get much better than this!

  • 5 pounds red potatoes , thinly sliced
  • 1 onion , finely chopped
  • 6 stripss bacon , chopped
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.

  2. 2

Place potatoes in an even layer in the prepared dish. Sprinkle onion and bacon over potatoes; dot with diced butter. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.

  3. 3
