Madame Cristo - Grilled Ham and Cheese
What started as a croque madame with custard instead of the usual white sauce turned into a Monte Cristo with a poached egg. Unable to call it a croque madame, I turned to Twitter for help. Some dude named Zap Shakur suggested I go with Madame Cristo โ grilled ham and cheese, and the rest is history. Top it with poached or fried eggs and garnish with fresh chives.
Homemade Pita Chips
These baked pita chips make a lovely accompaniment to any dip or spread.
Sweet Island Teriyaki Sauce
This is a great recipe for any meat marinade. Also a wonderful stir fry sauce. Marinate your choice of meat or vegetables for 4 to 24 hours; grill to your liking. Can be refrigerated for 2 weeks. The better quality soy sauce you use, the better your final product will be. Sauce can always be thinned with water if desired.
