Ruffled potato chips replace the cereal in Rice Krispies Treats for the most irresistible salty-sweet snack. The crunchy chip texture perfectly contrasts the soft, sticky marshmallow chew. A drizzle of chocolate or peanut butter takes them over the top, but isn't necessary at all
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 vanilla extract
- cups ridged potato chips , such as Ruffles
- 0.5 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
-
1
Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
-
2
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until smooth. Once combined with no lumps remaining, stir in vanilla extract, then remove saucepan from heat.
-
3
Add crushed potato chips and stir to combine. Once fully coated, pour the mixture into the buttered baking pan.
-
4
Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl in 15-second intervals, stirring after each interval, 1 to 3 minutes. Drizzle melted chocolate over the top of the treats.

Gooey Brownies with Shortbread Crust
Yummy gooey brownies, with chunks of melted milk chocolate! Great with a big glass of milk!
Tuna Ball
There's nothing fancy about a tuna ball, but it tastes great at parties and other get-togethers. Chopped pecans give this blend of tuna, cream cheese, and onion a light crunch. I love this appetizer with veggies and crackers.
Grilled Balsamic Beef
This grilled balsamic beef would be one of my signature dishes if I were a chef at a barbecue restaurant. The aged balsamic vinegar-based marinade is perfectly balanced, and grilling over high heat creates a beautiful sear.
