These rum balls are an easy chocolate treat that make an impressive truffle-like candy for the holidays. They are wonderful for parties and make great Christmas gifts for grownups!
Ingredients
- 1 package vanilla wafers , 12 ounce
- 1.5 cups chopped nuts
- 0.75 cups confectioners' sugar
- 0.25 cups cocoa
- 0.5 cups light rum
- 3 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 0.13 cups confectioners' sugar , or more as needed

Gather all ingredients.

Combine vanilla wafers, nuts, 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar, and cocoa in a large bowl.

Mix in rum and corn syrup until well combined.

Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in confectioners' sugar to coat.

Store rum balls in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days to develop flavor. Roll them again in confectioners' sugar before serving.
