Salted caramel apple shots capture the flavors of fall in a glass. They are delightfully sweet and boozy. Taking a little bite of apple at the end adds the nostalgic flavor of a carnival caramel apple.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce , divided
- 0.5 teaspoons flaky sea salt (
- ice as needed
- 3 ounces vodka
- 4 ounces apple cider
- 1 teaspoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 0.13 teaspoons cinnamon
- green apple slices , for garnish

Reserve 2 teaspoons caramel sauce. Dip one side of the rim of each shot glass in remaining caramel and sprinkle each with about 1/8 teaspoon salt.

Fill cocktail shaker half way with ice. Add vodka, apple cider, lemon juice, cinnamon, and remaining caramel sauce. Shake well and pour into prepared shot glasses. Garnish with a small apple slice if desired.
