This hearty nacho cheese dip is better than your average thrown-together, processed-cheese nacho mix. Serve during the big game or party, or bring with you to work and watch the pot get scraped clean. Serve with yellow corn tortilla chips and pickled jalapeno slices.
Ingredients
- 7 jars nacho cheese dip , 15 ounce
- 3 pounds ground beef
- 3 packages dry Mexican or taco seasoning , 1.25 ounce
- 1 yellow onion , diced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 4 cans diced tomatoes with green chilies , 10 ounce
- 0.5 cups water
Instructions
-
1
Pour the cheese sauce into a large slow cooker. Cover, and set to High.
-
2
Place a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the ground beef until completely browned; stir in the taco seasoning. Reserving the fat in the skillet, use a slotted spoon to transfer the beef to the slow cooker and stir into the cheese.
-
3
Return the skillet to medium heat. Combine the onion and chili powder in the skillet; cook until the onion softens. Stir in the tomatoes with green chiles. Add to the cheese mixture and stir through. If sauce is too thick, stir in up to 1/2 cup water.

BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza
This barbecue pulled pork pizza is a great way to use the leftovers from your slow cooker pulled pork. You can add any extra toppings to customize. When my husband and I first experimented with making this, we were so impressed that we had it at our Halloween party and it got rave reviews!
Heavenly Hot Dog Sauce
This is my family's favorite hot dog sauce recipe. It originates from West Virginia. We like it with a bite, but you can adjust it to your taste. We top our hot dogs with ketchup, mustard, this hot dog sauce, and finally some chopped onions — yum! This recipe makes a good amount, so you can freeze some and use it later.
Gramma's Old-Fashioned Chili Mac
This old-fashioned chili mac is a family recipe that my mom has cooked for 50 years. It's a wonderful, stick-to-the-ribs meal that goes well with warm cornbread or rolls. I find that kids love this dish when they don't like regular spicy chili.
