- 2 pounds beef sirloin , cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 4 large tomatoes , chopped
- 1 large onion , chopped
- 1 large red bell pepper , chopped
- 0.33 cups water
- 2 tablespoons ground cumin
- 5 cloves garlic , minced
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried , crushed Mexican oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 0.5 teaspoons paprika

Gather the ingredients.

Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Cook beef in hot oil, stirring occasionally, until brown on all sides, about 10 minutes. Reduce heat to medium.
