The spiced cranberry apple chutney recipe combines fresh cranberries, Granny Smith apples, and spices. It makes a lovely alternative to regular cranberry sauce. It tastes divine served over baked Brie. This spiced cranberry apple chutney recipe has yielded many compliments, when I have given it as Christmas gifts in pretty jars or served it at Thanksgiving dinner.

Stir in celery, apple, orange zest, orange juice, raisins, pecans, ginger, cloves, and salt; cook, stirring frequently, until celery is tender and sauce is reduced, about 35 minutes. Remove from the heat, cover the saucepan, and let chutney stand to thicken, about 15 minutes. Serve warm.
