This summer grilled cabbage is an easy side dish that we can't seem to get enough of once the grill starts firing in the summer. We use one large metal baking dish just for cabbage, that way none of the others get ruined on the grill.
Ingredients
- 1 large head cabbage , cored and cut into 8 wedges
- 0.25 cups water
- 8 teaspoons unsalted butter
- 0.5 teaspoons garlic powder , or to taste
- 0.5 teaspoons seasoned salt , or to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
-
1
Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
-
2
Arrange cabbage wedges in the bottom of a large metal baking dish; add water to dish. Place 1 teaspoon butter onto each wedge; season liberally with garlic powder, seasoned salt, and black pepper. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
-
3
Place the dish on the preheated grill; cook until cabbage is tender, about 30 minutes.

Mushroom and Tomato Bruschetta
Try this mushroom bruschetta recipe for a wonderful appetizer before a pasta meal. It's great paired with a glass of Chianti. Feel free to add your own touches.
Swedish Waffle Cookies
Delicious filled cookies. The recipe calls for a liqueur called Swedish Arrack Punsch, but I usually use amaretto as it is easier to find and tastes delicious.
Kim's Lasagna
After years of tweaking this recipe, I've finally got it to where I want it. Everyone raves about this lasagna just the way it is, although I'll probably never stop tweaking it!
