Maamoul (Lebanese Date Cookies)
Maamoul are buttery date-filled cookies that are famous in the Middle East and one of my favorite Lebanese festive treats! After a few phone calls with my mom and grandma, I got this authentic recipe to make these melt-in-your-mouth treats at home. Wooden ma'amoul molds give them their distinctive decorative shapes.
