Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract

Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a rolling boil over medium heat. Cook and stir until sugar has dissolved, 1 to 2 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Let syrup cool.
