This is a classic vegan pesto recipe that I love! So quick to make by blending olive oil, pine nuts, basil, garlic, and nutritional yeast to get that cheesy flavor. Very tasty on pasta, bread, sandwiches, omelets, etc.
Ingredients
- 0.33 cups pine nuts
- 0.67 cups olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic
- 0.33 cups nutritional yeast
- 1 bunch fresh basil leaves
- salt and pepper to taste

Place pine nuts in a skillet over medium heat; cook, stirring or shaking the pan often, until lightly toasted.

Place toasted pine nuts, olive oil, garlic, nutritional yeast, and basil in a food processor; blend until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
