Red Curry Ham Gratin
This Indian-inspired dish won raves for the Allrecipes Allstars team of MommaBean3 (Maureen VanBuskirk), Jenny Aleman (Jennifer Aleman), and ~*CountryGirlGourmet*~ (Debbie Hendrix). They made it as an appetizer, but we tweaked it to make a main dish.

I made this chicken-fried venison with stuff I had in the cupboard and fresh venison. My husband and children loved it. Serve with mashed potatoes and gravy โ I used brown gravy, but country gravy can be used for a milder taste.

This sweet and sour stuffed cabbage recipe is my Grandma's. She made this in her hotel in the Catskill Mountains. It is a treasured family favorite. I serve it with mashed potatoes.
Golabki (Stuffed Cabbage Rolls)
Golabki are cabbage leaves stuffed with ground beef and rice, then simmered in tomato soup. This works great in the oven or a slow cooker. Serve them with the pan juices and a drizzle of sour cream, or mix the pan juices with sour cream and ladle it over the cabbage rolls. They're also good with mashed potatoes and a cucumber and sour cream salad. They freeze well too โ either before or after cooking.
Turkey Cabbage Rolls
This is my version of cabbage rolls using ground turkey instead of ground beef. This dish freezes well, so you can have half for dinner and freeze the other half for another time. Mashed potatoes make a good side dish.
Halupki (Stuffed Cabbage)
This stuffed cabbage recipe, known as halupki on the Ukrainian side of my family, is made with beef, pork, and rice encased in cabbage and drizzled with a thin, sweet tomato sauce. Leftovers freeze well โ if you have any! My grandma Eugenia taught me how to make this. Every family has their own twist on this traditional dish. Enjoy with mashed potatoes just as we always do in my family!
