Shortcut Potato Onion Perogies
Although you have to make the dough from scratch for these potato and onion perogies, the filling is extremely easy!
Pierogi (Traditional Polish Dumplings)
This Polish pierogi recipe is from my grandmother and has been handed down in our family for generations. These pierogi are filled with cheese, potatoes, and mushrooms, but you can stuff them with other fillings to your liking. There are many ways to serve pierogi. Try them topped with fried onions and parsley, or serve them with sour cream, melted butter, and fried bacon.
Pierogies
My great-grandmother's recipe. A little bit of work, but well worth it. We make about 200 every Christmas Eve, and everyone can't wait. The amounts for the ingredients is an estimate, because my great-grandmother does not measure! Serve with a side of sour cream.
Ham and Pierogies
Pan-fried ham and frozen pierogies. Easy and simple, yet filling!
Babaci's Potato Pierogi
This recipe was given to me by my grandmother. One of my friends from Poland told me they were better than his mother's!
Vareniky
Vareniky are like big ravioli with different fillings (meat, potato, berries, fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, etc.) This recipe for vareniky is stuffed with a potato and mushroom filling. Serve them with butter and chopped parsley, fried onions, pork cracklings, or sour cream and fresh dill.
Sauerkraut Filling for Pierogi
A not-so-typical filling for yummy pierogis!
Chicken and Biscuit Casserole
This chicken and biscuit casserole is a marriage between a chicken pot pie and chicken and dumplings. My family begs me to make this!
Knoephla Soup
Knoephla soup is not for those watching calories! It's a German potato soup with small dough balls that I grew up eating. It is rich, creamy, and will stick to your ribs. The women in the family have been making this soup for generations, and I've added my own twist to the base recipe.
Air Fryer Potstickers
These air fryer potstickers are crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Serve with the dipping sauce of your choice.
Siopao (Filipino Steamed Dumplings)
Warning - this recipe is not easy, but well worth the effort. This is a Filipino dish with Chinese roots. A steamed, almost sweet, yeasty bun filled with delicious chicken filling can also be made with shredded pork. You will need a bamboo steamer.
Gyoza
I learned this gyoza recipe while living in Japan. These pot stickers can be served hot or cold, with or without the dipping sauce.
