The best juicy and sweet pork chops we have ever eaten! Our family favorite!
How to "Dry-Brine" Pork Chops
Seeing the juicy pork chops in my friend Jennifer Yu's blog post (Use Real Butter) inspired this recipe, which features one of my favorite getting-meat-ready-for-the-grill techniques of all time. If you can call sprinkling salt on pork chops a technique. As long as you don't horribly overcook your meat, this 'dry-brine' technique will produce the juiciest and most flavorful pork chops you've ever had.
Marinated Spicy Pork Chops
This tasty marinade comes together in minutes and can also be used for steak or chicken! To save time, prepare the marinade in the morning and grill the pork when you get home from work.

My Mom made these when I was growing up, often after we had a turkey dinner and had leftover stuffing/dressing. They are delish!

Toad in the Hole
You know that something with a name like this is going to be good and this truly is! The traditional recipe itself is very simple but the method for making it is not, so I developed this "cold oven cheater method" which is much safer and easier. The end result is an amazing flavor and texture combination of juicy sausages, crispy, puffed, and tender Yorkshire pudding, and delicious onion gravy. And the gravy is so good you'll want to eat it on just about anything (and everything!)
Hog's Head Cheese
This is not actually cheese. It is a wonderful, spicy appetizer mold made of pork roast that is great served with crackers.
Wine and Garlic Pork (Portuguese Vina Dosh)
Ahh, "vina dosh," this Portuguese wine and garlic pork recipe is my family's tradition to make during Christmas. The recipe started getting passed down more than 80 years ago when my grandparents came to America from the Azore Islands! And now, I'm sharing the recipe that was passed down to me with you. It's easy to make but requires a lot of patience to wait for the marinade to do its magic. But, oh so worth the wait! Serve it with Portuguese linguiça, a pot of semi-sweet, bacon-laced baked beans, and some Portuguese sweet bread. Hawaiian sweet bread works in a pinch. You can use white wine or red wine in the marinade.
Slow Cooker Apple Cider Braised Pork
This braised pork shoulder recipe combines pork shoulder with apple cider in a slow cooker, where it is cooked for several hours until tender. Reduce the cooking liquid to create a thick and flavorful sauce you can pour over the sliced pork.
Cider-Braised Pork Shoulder
Chunks of pork shoulder cook low and slow in an apple cider sauce until perfectly tender and sauce has thickened. This is delicious served over spΓ€tzle or buttered rice.
