Fall-off-the-Bone Instant Pot Ribs
These Instant Pot ribs are seasoned with a delicious spice mix and cooked with apple cider vinegar and barbecue sauce. They're fall-off-the-bone delicious and ready in under an hour from start to finish. I've had zero complaints about these sweet and spicy ribs from my family of seven, so that's a win for me!
Instant Pot Lasagna Soup
Try lasagna soup in the Instant Pot for a new twist on an old favorite. Ever wonder what to do with that last little bit of marinara sauce or those broken lasagna noodles? Well, this recipe has you covered with a soup that has all of the flavors of lasagna without all of the hours in the kitchen. I've made it with fairly simple ingredients but feel free to add ground fennel seeds or herbs.
Instant Pot Steel Cut Oats
Steel cut oats are incredibly easy to make in the Instant Pot. Using the sautΓ© function to toast the oats in olive oil before adding liquid for pressure cooking adds a nice toasty flavor. This recipe is for traditional steel cut oats, not quick cooking-cook ones. Once cooked and cooled, put oats in an airtight container and refrigerate. In the morning, take about a half cup and add 1/4 cup water or milk, then steam for 15 minutes with your Instant Pot's steam function. Stir well and enjoy oats every morning during the week!
Instant Pot Carnitas
Instant Pot carnitas are easy to make with pork shoulder, orange juice, and spices. You just need a little patience for the pressure to release naturally, but you'll be rewarded with fall-apart tender pork. Perfect for tacos, nachos, burritos, and more!
Instant Pot Chicken Tortilla Soup
Our Instant Pot Chicken Tortilla Soup brings all the rich flavors of classic soup together in no time at all. We love this soup because it's so customizable. For example, we like topping it with tortilla strips, cilantro, avocado, or jalapeΓ±o, but feel free to use whatever you like.
Indian Potatoes and Cauliflower (Aloo Gobi)
A daily household dish in India, made in every house and cherished by each and every person. This authentic dish is made with tomatoes and onions flavored with the aromas of the Indian spices. This is cherished with phulka (roti, Indian wheat bread). There are various versions of aloo gobi, this is my take on it. Please do try this recipe and comment. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with a lemon wedge. Serve with hot phulka or chapati or rice and curds.
Dal Chakolya
This Maharashtrian comfort food consists of tempered dal topped with crunchy diamond-shaped bits of chakolya, which are like small chapati.
Tomato Bhath (Tomato Rice)
There are probably many recipes for tomato rice. This is a south Indian recipe for tomato rice (bhath) that I really like. Serve with papadams and yoghurt.
Indian Kale and Moong Dal
Indian kale and moong dal for veggie lovers.
Vegan Vegetable Masala
Customize this Indian-inspired vegan vegetable masala recipe by using any of your favorite vegetables, and throwing in a protein like seitan, tofu, or tempeh. Serve piping hot over a bed of rice or quinoa.
Spicy Quinoa and Spinach Pulao (Pilaf)
This spicy quinoa pulao with Indian flavors is made with quinoa rather than rice for added protein!
Yogurt Rice
This cooling Indian dish is perfect as an accompaniment to grilled meats. Curry leaves can be found at your local Indian store. If you can't find them, they can be omitted, but they do add a unique flavor and smell.
