Sheet Pan Breakfast Pizza
Pop open crescent roll dough and whisk together eggs for a low-effort cheesy breakfast pizza topped with hash browns and Canadian-style bacon.
Loaf Pan Frittata
This loaf pan frittata is a great alternative method for making frittata, plus it's easier. Use any type of greens you like, bell peppers, and potatoes, or whatever vegetables you have on hand. My favorite way to serve it is on plain toast with a garlic aioli or lemon mayonnaise, and a small green salad on the side.
Gochujang Scrambled Eggs
These gochujang scrambled eggs are both sweet and savory, and the Korean chile paste adds just the right amount of spice. I like to take it up a notch by adding deli ham.
Prune Yogurt Spice Loaf
This recipe for a delicious prune yogurt spice loaf is made with prunes, oats, and maple syrup essence. It is a wonderful addition to tea or coffee.
Swedish Limpa Rye Bread
Wonderful, dark Swedish limpa bread.
Ada (Adai)
This ada (adai) recipe is a dosa (crêpe) usually served at breakfast. It is made with a mixture of lentils and rice and is quite filling. One usually eats ada with podi (south Indian spicy chutney powder) and mango pickle (avakkai). Since the batter is made with raw lentils, it gets fermented easily. It will keep in the refrigerator for one to two days maximum.
Chef John's White Bread
White bread is buttery and slightly sweet with a neutral flavor that lets the sandwich ingredients shine. I mostly eat whole wheat bread, but I occasionally indulge in some white. Whether you're a nostalgic baby boomer like I am, or just a curious millennial wondering what classic white bread should taste like, I really do hope you give this a try soon.
Sourdough Scones
Looking for a way to use up some extra sourdough starter, I created this recipe. These scones bake up incredibly tender and moist, and my kids absolutely love the warm, cinnamon-rich flavor of the apple pie spice.
Hawaiian Bread
Hawaiian bread is sweet, fluffy, and so delicious. This recipe is easy to make and will bring the flavor of Hawaii home from vacation.
Sourdough Buckwheat Pancakes
Buckwheat pancakes are the best! I love them with a fresh blueberry syrup and loads of sweet cream butter!
Korean-Style Cream Cheese Garlic Bread
I'm showing you my more savory, less sweet, take on this viral sensation. If a cross between a cheese Danish and garlic bread doesn't sound great, you've probably never tried it!
Steamed Barbecue Pork Buns
You don't need much experience at all to make beautiful barbecue pork buns, aka. char siu bao. Instead of that mysterious, gelatinous red sauce that Chinese restaurants use, I filled these buns with regular barbecue pork for a more savory version. Regardless of what filling you choose, I hope this helps shape your technique.
