Marinated Spicy Pork Chops
This tasty marinade comes together in minutes and can also be used for steak or chicken! To save time, prepare the marinade in the morning and grill the pork when you get home from work.
Sunday Afternoon Slow-Cooked Spare Ribs
These Dutch oven ribs are a great accompaniment to Sunday afternoon football games on TV. I reviewed all the recipes for spare ribs and then borrowed ideas from many of them to come up with a blend that we tasted and loved.
Meat-Lover's Slow Cooker Spaghetti Sauce
This crockpot spaghetti sauce creates a great, chunky, and very meaty spaghetti sauce. The longer it cooks in your slow cooker, the better it tastes! Boil up some pasta, and dinner tastes like you spent all day at the stove!
World's Best Pasta Sauce!
This pasta sauce is excellent in lasagna or as a meat sauce. I use it in my popular lasagna recipe, so I thought I'd share it on its own.
Chef John's Paper Pork Shoulder
This 'paper pork' was inspired by a technique for smoking beef brisket that involves wrapping the meat in parchment paper after a certain point in the cooking process, in an effort to keep the meat moist and succulent. I decided to try it for an oven-roasted pork shoulder, wrapping it from the beginning, and it came out so perfectly tender and juicy, I've been doing it that way ever since.
Braised Pork Ragu
A perfect make-ahead dish that is served best over Parmesan risotto, but is also great over pasta or potatoes! Lamb or beef can also be substituted and is just as delicious!
Dan's Fallin' Apart Pork Pot Roast with Cracked Pepper Gravy
Savory pork roast is first seared in roasted shallots and garlic, then roasted with veggies until it falls apart. Finish it off by serving it with some cracked pepper gravy. Add sautรฉed portobello or cremini mushrooms and sautรฉed chopped scallions for additional flavor.
Irish Boiled Ham Dinner
I grew up eating this boiled ham dinner on Sundays when I visited my Irish granny. One thing that makes this recipe special is that it calls for a smoked ham or smoked pork shoulder instead of corned beef. A yummy smell will fill your kitchen as this cooks!
Bigos (Hunter's Stew)
Bigos is a traditional Polish stew using pork, kielbasa, and sauerkraut โ great for a cold winter's day. This recipe is well worth the time it takes to make it!
Herb-Crusted Pork Sirloin Roast
No store-bought spice rub here. An easy-to-make, homemade rub adds great flavor to the pork!
Mohawk Indian Corn Soup
On the Akwesasne Reservation where I grew up I have fond memories of Mohawk Indian corn soup always being on the stove on New Year's Eve. Friends and family would stop in and have a bowl or two and celebrate the end of the year. I continue this tradition with my own family now. Use canned Indian corn instead of hominy if available.
Pork Loin Stuffed with Spinach
Pork loin stuffed with spinach, onion, garlic and bread crumbs, basted in a fabulous sweet sauce.
