Eggnog Creme Brulee
I have been making crème brûlée for my wife for quite some time, and one day, she asked me, 'Honey, is it possible to make crème brûlée out of eggnog? I think that would be so yummy.' So, I bought some eggnog and set about finding out if it is possible, and it is. You can also take the same recipe and pour it into a prepared pie crust for an eggnog custard pie. It's a lot less work and hassle than individual ramekins.

Fresh Cranberry-Orange Sauce
Cranberry sauce is a must-have, classic holiday side dish. Sweet orange and pear are perfect partners to the tart cranberries. The orange marmalade intensifies the citrus flavor, the vanilla adds a subtle aroma, and the star anise will have people asking "what is that?"
Jalapeño Cranberry Sauce
This jalapeño cranberry sauce is moderately spicy, but not overpowering. Made with a bit of sherry to enrich the flavor, it's lovely alongside your Thanksgiving or Christmas turkey but also makes a lovely condiment for sandwiches or even an interesting topping for vanilla ice cream. Leave some jalapeño seeds in if you like it spicier!
