Brioche Col Tuppo (Sicilian Brioche)
I've streamlined the recipe for Brioche Col Tuppo (Sicilian brioche), which I believe is the best baked product ever named after a hairstyle. Named for the hair bun worn by Sicilian women, this buttery, perfectly perky, absolutely gorgeous bun is usually eaten for breakfast.
Rosemary-Garlic Beer Bread
This rosemary beer bread recipe couldn't be easier: You don't have to activate any yeast, there's no rise time, and it comes together shockingly quickly with a homemade shortcut.
Orange and Saffron Panettone
This panettone recipe is perfect for Christmas gifts. The sweet yeast bread is studded with candied orange and lemon peel and Cointreau-soaked golden raisins, topped with pearl sugar. Make the sponge and soak the raisins the night before mixing the dough; the final dough needs time to ferment, as well. It's rich and buttery and needs time to firm up in the refrigerator. This makes a lovely weekend project!
Panettone
Panettone is an Italian Christmas bread that's loaded with candied fruit. This homemade recipe bakes the dough in festive paper panettone molds for a gorgeous Christmas gift.
Triple Coffee Sweet Rolls
These triple coffee sweet rolls have coffee in the dough, in the filling, and in the icing. With three hits of coffee, these came out incredibly well. They have a beautifully light, tender texture, and a huge amount of coffee flavor.
Fruit Pizza Chopped Bagel
This fruit pizza chopped bagel delivers perfect bites all around. Filled with a quickly chopped-together cream cheese and fruit spread, it's fruit pizza, bagel-style.
Cinnamon Roll Focaccia
"Fluffy on the inside and shatteringly crispy on the outside."
Copycat Texas Roadhouse Rolls
"They're like soft little pillows of goodness!"
Chef John's Panettone
This panettone came out really well. It takes three days to make this recipe but otherwise it's pretty straightforward. Besides dried fruit, there are so many other things you can include, such as nuts, and chocolate chips, just in case this seems too healthy. Serve plain, with butter, or even better, toasted with butter.
Sticky Buns
Yummy sticky buns! What can be better than a hot and gooey sticky bun with sweet raisins and gooey nuts on top for breakfast or a late-night snack?
Resurrection Rolls
Resurrection rolls are a great Easter recipe that you can make with the kids. Cinnamon-coated marshmallows are wrapped in dough, then baked. When you break them open, they are empty inside, representing Jesus's tomb on Easter morning.
Bread Machine Panettone
Bread machine panettone that's perfect for Christmas. I have made it many times successfully, you will love it.
