This chocolate chip Bundt cake is very easy, very rich, and very good! You may substitute vanilla pudding for a less chocolaty cake or substitute semisweet chocolate chips for a more intense chocolate flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 package yellow cake mix , 15.25 ounce
  • 0.5 cups white sugar
  • 1 package instant chocolate pudding mix , 3.9 ounce
  • 4 large eggs , beaten
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 0.75 cups water
  • 0.75 cups vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 0.13 cups confectioners' sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. 1

Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan.

  2. 2

Stir together cake mix, sugar, and instant pudding in a large bowl.

  3. 3

Mix in beaten eggs, sour cream, water, and oil until well blended.

  4. 4

    Fold in chocolate chips.

  5. 5

Pour into the prepared Bundt pan.

  6. 6

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 50 to 60 minutes.

  7. 7

Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely. Dust cooled cake with confectioners' sugar before cutting and serving.
