Incredibly easy and tasty. Neufchatel can be substituted for the cream cheese for a lower-fat but equally scrumptious alternative.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.33 cups packed brown sugar
- 5 tablespoons butter , softened
- 0.5 cups finely chopped pecans
- 1 package cream cheese , 8 ounce
- 0.75 cups white sugar
- 0.5 cups pumpkin puree
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions
-
1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking dish.

3
Bake crust in preheated oven until lightly browned, about 15 minutes; remove from oven and set aside to cool slightly.
-
4
Beat cream cheese, white sugar, pumpkin puree, eggs, vanilla extract, allspice, and cinnamon together in a bowl until smooth; pour over the cooled crust. Sprinkle reserved topping over the cream cheese mixture.
-
5
Return dish to oven and continue baking until the topping browns, 30 to 35 minutes.

Easy Sausage and Shrimp Gumbo
This dish will warm your heart on a cold day. I first had this at a friend's house in Louisiana and after a few changes, shrimp instead of chicken for instance, I came up with a recipe I think you will enjoy as much as my family does. Serve over rice with additional seasoning on the side if you like it spicier, as I do. Enjoy.
Grandma's Pumpkin Ice Cream Pie
My grandma's treasured recipe for a delicious, easy dessert, perfect for early fall. Garnish with sliced pecans and swirl on a few loose graham cracker crumbs and top with whipped cream, if desired.
Very Best Blueberry Cobbler!
This juicy blueberry cobbler can be made with fresh or frozen blueberries. I've tinkered and tinkered, and this is the very best cobbler recipe I've found. An amalgamation of my grandmother's recipe and my own, it can also work with other fruit fillings. This perfect summer treat has a cakey biscuit topping with a slight crunch on top with delicious blueberries hidden on the bottom. Serve plain or with whipped cream.
