Homemade turkey breakfast sausage is easy to make. You can use this recipe for chicken and pork as well.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1.5 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 1.5 teaspoons ground sage
- 1.5 teaspoons ground thyme
- 0.5 teaspoons dried marjoram
- 0.5 teaspoons red pepper flakes

Mix together turkey, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, sage, thyme, marjoram, and red pepper flakes in a bowl until well combined. Shape turkey mixture into patties.

Working in batches, fry patties in a large skillet over medium-high heat until golden brown and no longer pink in the center, 6 to 8 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
