Five-Ingredient Monkey Bread
I gave this monkey bread recipe to my daughter who has 6 children. They love this, and it is so simple they can make it themselves which they love to do. If desired, a thin mixture of powdered sugar frosting can be poured over warm biscuits.
Minestrone Vegetable Soup
A good soup to use up vegetables.
Corrigan's Minestrone
Hearty and filling vegetarian soup with potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, beans and pasta. Make sure you have the storage for the left-overs.
Prosciutto Fave Minestrone alla Riso
This ham, bean and rice soup is my favorite and it is a hearty dinner soup. Sprinkle bowls of soup with Parmesan cheese and serve hot. Serve extra cheese at the table. Offer crusty, Italian bread with the soup. You may substitute macaroni for the rice.
Mama Kathy's Minestrone
This is a tasty and filling soup for those cold winter nights. The mix of the vegetables tastes wonderful. Make homemade baked bread and you will have a winter's delight.
Fall Minestrone Soup
This hearty and comforting minestrone soup with potatoes and chard is a meal in a bowl.
Sue's Minestrone
This is a good make-ahead recipe. In fact, I usually let it sit in the fridge for a few days before I reheat it! Feel free to experiment with the mixed vegetables. I use the Italian-style mixed veggies. Serve with warmed foccacia or French bread for dipping.
Easy Slow Cooker Vegetarian Minestrone
This minestrone is yummy, full of good-for-you veggies, and made in the slow cooker. What could be better?
Spruced-Up Slow Cooker Minestrone Soup
Easy, hearty, slow cooker minestrone soup. We like to top ours with Cheddar cheese and serve with cornbread. It's even better the second day and leftovers freeze well.
Mock Mincemeat Pie
My mother made this mock mincemeat pie recipe every Thanksgiving. Enhanced with a hint of orange, cinnamon, and cloves, it's a great variation on the typical apple and raisin filling. It's called "mock" because it contains no meat. You can prepare the filling several days in advance. For extra flavor, stir 1 to 2 tablespoons of brandy into the filling, if you like.
Mum's Mincemeat
My Mum's recipe from Lancashire, UK. I have taken over the yearly family tradition for making mincemeat. You will want to make this early- to mid-November to allow it to ferment and the flavors to mingle in time for Christmas.
Sweet Potato Minestrone
This sweet potato minestrone soup is very hearty on a cold winter night and full of healthy antioxidants. I serve it with hot garlic bread. If you are lucky enough to have leftovers, this soup tastes great the next day!
