Slow Cooker Marry Me Chicken Sandwiches
These delicious slow cooker marry me chicken sandwiches feature slow cooked shredded chicken in a creamy, cheesy, sun-dried tomato sauce on toasted brioche buns with crispy bacon.
Chocolate-Covered Bacon Strips
Chocolate-covered bacon like you get at the fair! The sweetness of chocolate and the saltiness of the bacon is the perfect marriage. What could be better? Additional toppings like candy sprinkles, chopped pecans, or dried apple chips, of course!
World's Best Lasagna
This lasagna recipe takes a little work, but it is so satisfying and filling that it's worth it!
Ultimate Twice-Baked Potatoes
These twice-baked potatoes taste wonderful and always a big hit! I've been making these for years โ they make a great side dish for any meal and are terrific heated up the next day for lunch.
Good New Orleans Creole Gumbo
I am going to give you my Creole gumbo recipe. I learned to cook from my mother and grandmother who were born and raised in New Orleans and really knew how to cook. Most of the time, you could not get them to write down their recipes because they used a "pinch" of this and "just enough of that" and so on. This recipe is a combination of both of their recipes which I have added to over the years. Serve over hot cooked rice.
Slow Cooker Loaded Chicken and Potatoes
"Hearty, creamy, saucy goodness."
Original Old Bay Coleslaw
This coleslaw recipe used to be printed on the Old Bay cans, but it was removed a decade or more ago. It's very different from the one on the current Old Bay website. I much prefer this one and even today occasionally see a posting from someone looking for the old recipe from the Old Bay can. Well, here it is! It's a great side dish โ especially with barbecued pork.
Sweet Restaurant Slaw
This sweet coleslaw recipe tastes like the slaw served at popular fried chicken or fish restaurants. It's excellent with burgers or on top of BBQ pork sandwiches, too!
Cabbage Salad with Mandarin Oranges and Fig-Dijon Dressing
Are you tired of the same coleslaw? Try this colorful cabbage salad without mayonnaise, but instead, uses your freshly made fig-Dijon salad dressing. Don't want to make your own dressing? Use 1/2 cup or more of your favorite bottled honey mustard dressing. Mandarin oranges and red bell peppers add color, almonds and chopped bacon provide a satisfying crunch!
Apple Coleslaw
Simple, sweet coleslaw that is a great accompaniment to pork-apple burgers or pork sandwiches. You can serve it immediately, but it's best when refrigerated overnight allowing the flavors to blend.
Dave's Coleslaw
This is a recipe I have worked on for a while and I think it is just about right. It goes well with just about anything from fried fish to hamburgers, and is to die for on a pulled pork sandwich. If you are going to use it with Q, reduce the amount of dressing you add to the cabbage so it's not too sloppy. For best results refrigerate over night to allow flavors to marry.
Tangy Cucumber Slaw for Tacos
I adapted Martha Stewart's cucumber radish slaw for a tangy, vinegar-forward twist. This mayo-free, low-fat slaw is perfect for tacos, pork, or as a bold alternative to traditional coleslaw.
