Spinach and Feta Pita Bake
This feta and spinach pita bake is tasty, full of flavor, and good for you. It makes a great party appetizer or a full meal. The crunchy crust is what I really like! You can switch up the veggie toppings and cheeses. This is our favorite quick meal.
Chef John's Chicken and Rice Casserole
Have you ever been eating chicken and rice and thought to yourself, "This is good, but I wish it had a little bit more going on?" If so, you'll love this. This chicken and rice casserole was inspired by many different recipes from many different places. Sprinkle this with red pepper flakes, if desired.
Kokub's Mango Chutney from Pakistan
We live in Saudi Arabia in a close-knit community full of different cultures, and our neighbors from Pakistan have become like our extended family away from home. Kokub, one of our neighbors, makes the most amazing mango chutney. A few years ago she invited me to help her. Of course, she doesn't use a recipe, so the next time I went over with my measuring cups and scale so I could recreate her magic on my own. What an incredible experience!
Instant Pot Apple Mango Chutney
Try this tasty and colorful vegan apple mango chutney, seasoned with cinnamon, cardamom, and chili. It's just so simple and easy to make in your Instant Pot!

I have been making this charoset since my first Passover. Even the kids love it!
Real Indian Mango Chutney
This chutney has a sweet and sour taste and goes particularly well with samosas and mint raita. Make it at least 2 weeks in advance for enhanced flavor or 1 day before serving.
Apple Chutney
This homemade apple chutney is made with tart apples, fresh ginger, and sweet spices. It's a great condiment for so many dishes — use it to glaze pork chops or serve with a selection of cold meats and cheese.
Date Haroset
This date haroset recipe is more of a confection than the typical fruit and nut paste, and very different from the apple-based variety. It can be stored, refrigerated, in a closed container for one week.
Orange Pear Butter
This pear butter is really great on toast, pancakes, and tea biscuits. I got this recipe from my mom. My brother has 4 pear trees and she can't stand to see the pears to waste.
Sri Lanka Beef Curry
This beef curry uses roasted curry powder.
Al Kabsa (Traditional Saudi Rice and Chicken)
Al kabsa was the first Arabic dish I ever made. It turned out extremely delicious and is a new favorite. Serve with fresh mixed cucumber, carrot, lettuce, and tomato salad — preferably with a little lime vinaigrette. Some fresh pita bread on the side would also be nice. Saudis like their kabsa with a hot sauce called shattah. Enjoy!
Carrot Cake with Chai-Flavored Cream Cheese Frosting
The best carrot cake!
