Coffee Liqueur I
Rich and yummy! This liqueur needs to be made 1 month ahead of giving or drinking! Makes great gifts when poured into separate smaller bottles and tied with ribbon!
Holiday Coffee Liquor
One of our town's ancient citizens, Mabel Hill, passed away recently, but thanks to her grandniece, I was able to obtain her famous 'Kahlua®' recipe. For over 70 years, Hollis, New Hampshire people have been enjoying this holiday beverage! There is a scant amount more than the 5 pints, which I save for baking or to throw in my cocktail while making it.
Wolf's Light Irish Cream
This end product is a little lighter, and the recipe is a little more in-depth then some of the other recipes available. It will allow you to tailor some of the ingredients more to your taste. There have been many variations of this liqueur, but this one is the most accurate to store brands of Irish cream. It is also the most flexible. Store brands do not use Hershey's® chocolate syrup in their recipe. This one should have a better consistency and taste a little more proper to the famous brand 'B' from Ireland if followed directly. You be the judge.
Home-Made Coffee Liqueur
This easy and simple recipe makes three bottles of a favorite coffee-flavored liqueur! It tastes wonderful, too. The longer it's stored, the smoother the taste.
Blackberry Liqueur
Some homemade fruit liqueurs make you wait for weeks or even months, but not this one. This spiced blackberry liqueur, also called creme de mure, is ready in 20 minutes.
Spiced Honey Vodka
This is a dangerously tasty spiced honey vodka recipe that I have perfected over the years. It has some similarities to Polish Krupnik, but with several variations. It makes a nice dessert liqueur or food gift to friends during the holidays.
Viryta (Lithuanian Honey Liqueur)
This is a sweet, very potent beverage that can be found at Lithuanian festivals and Lithuanian social clubs in Baltimore. They usually pronounce it 'VIT-a-tis'. Viryta is usually homemade by descendants of Lithuanian immigrants, using recipes that have been handed down through the generations, and is a popular commodity around the holidays. It took me years to finally get someone to teach me how to make it; most of the people around Baltimore who make it are very secretive about their family recipes! I'd probably catch an earful if she knew I posted it online!
Lithuanian Krupnikas
This krupnikas recipe is for Lithuanian spiced honey liqueur. Serve warm as a traditional Eastern European cold remedy. A quick heat-up in the microwave works great.
Apple Pie Liquor
This apple pie liquor is a great drink to share with family and friends around the holidays.
Irish Cream Liqueur
This is better than the commercial Irish cream liqueurs and is very popular with family and friends. Will store for several weeks in the fridge; just serve over ice.
Homemade Liquors
This is an excellent base for homemade liquors. Substitute chocolate, coconut, or any flavoring desired for vanilla extract and you will have made a different flavor alcohol. Food coloring can also be added to the cooled mixture to add a bit of pizzazz to your alcohol drinks! Perfect for warming up parties during the winter holidays.
Traditional Italian Limoncello
Traditional Italian limoncello is typical of the Amalfi coast, a beautiful area around Naples. It's traditionally made with Sorrento lemons, which are large and flavorful and a really unique Italian product.
