Carrot Hummus
Carrot hummus is my favorite dip of all time. This recipe was created by my friend Mary. Play around with the proportions to taste — you really cannot mess it up! Serve with pita chips.
Hummus I
This is a very basic recipe for the popular garbanzo and sesame seed pate. Vary the flavor by adding a few mint leaves, a little fresh ginger, or red pepper flakes. I make it in a food processor now, but I used to make it by putting the garbanzo beans through a ricer.

Beets are just packed with great nutritional benefits so I seriously recommend this recipe. Store in the refrigerator.

This is a great recipe made from dried garbanzo beans and soy beans. I cook my beans in a pressure cooker for an hour in a half water, half stock solution, but the old 'soak the beans overnight and simmer for two hours' method would also work.
Harissa Hummus
This spicy harissa hummus is easy to make in a flash with canned chickpeas, olive oil, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and harissa powder. Serve with flatbread or vegetables for an absolutely delicious appetizer. Sure to be a potluck hit!
