Easy Air Fryer Latkes
These crispy latkes are made with only 4 ingredients and air-fried in less than 15 minutes. I made these in an air fryer oven but can be made in batches in a regular air fryer. Cook time may have to be adjusted.
Family Latkes
These latkes are perfect for any Jewish holiday or literally any other day!
Apple-Potato Latkes
A nontraditional approach to a potato latke. The shredding is done using a spiralizer, and the apple and maple syrup give you just enough sweetness to make these different. Good topped with sour cream or applesauce.
Irish Boxty
Boxty is a traditional Irish potato pancake made with leftover mashed potato and grated raw potato. An old Irish rhyme goes: "Boxty on the griddle, boxty on the pan; if you can't make boxty, you'll never get a man." Our family has been making this delicious recipe for years!
Potato Latkes
You can't go wrong with this classic latke recipe! Made with shredded potatoes, grated onion, and a flour and egg binder, these tasty potato latkes are pan-fried in batches until golden brown. These hot, crispy, oniony potato pancakes are must for Hanukkah but perfectly acceptable other times of the year. Serve with applesauce, sour cream, or smoked salmon.
Cheesy Potato Pancakes
Delicious and cheesy, these potato pancakes are a huge hit with my three boys! They're great as a side dish or for snacking! These travel well wrapped in foil for the lunch box. They can be served plain or with ranch dressing as a dip.
Mom's Potato Latkes
Latkes (potato pancakes) are a must-have at Hanukkah, but are really wonderful any time of the year! This is my mother's recipe, which is honestly the best potato latke I've had. I usually end up making a second batch because they disappear so quickly. I've tried other recipes and always return to this one. Lovely topped with sour cream or applesauce.
Baked Potato Latkes
We love to eat potato skins, but I got tired of just using the starch that we scooped out for mashed potatoes. I thought: "Hmmm, I could shape it into pancakes and make latkes, that could be interesting." They were such a hit with the family that this recipe has been a staple ever since!
Potato Latkes from Simply Potatoes
Latkes are traditional Jewish pancakes made with shredded potatoes and eggs; these are made with hash browns. One recommended way to serve latkes is to top them with applesauce.
Chef John's Classic Potato Pancakes
The one and only way to not get perfectly crispy potato pancakes is to not squeeze them properly. More than half the procedure was dedicated to grating, soaking, draining, and squeezing the potatoes. If you don't thoroughly squeeze all the liquid from the potatoes, the pancakes just won't crisp up as well. Top with thinly sliced smoked salmon, sour cream, and fresh dill.
Dad's Potato Pancakes
This is a delicious recipe which my late father left to me. Everyone raves about this recipe, and it is sooooo...easy. Wonderful side dish with pork chops.
Country-Style Fried Potatoes
These fried potatoes are the perfect companion for bacon and eggs.
