Chef John's Chicken Satay Burger
I love chicken satay: That spicy meat on a stick, marinated and grilled and served with a peanut sauce. With this recipe, I tried to get that same effect with a chicken satay burger.
Thai Chicken Balls
These Thai chicken meatballs are so tasty. You have to try them!
Chicken Lettuce Wraps
These are so yummy! They taste really close to the lettuce wraps that you can order from that famous Asian restaurant chain. The number of servings will depend on if this is an appetizer or main course for you and how big you make them. If an appetizer, then maybe 6 servings; if a main dish, then 4 servings.
Chicken Wonton Tacos
These chicken wonton tacos are similar to those at Applebees. I loved the ones at Applebees and decided to attempt a home version. Light and tasty, they make a great appetizer or a quick and easy main dish. Kids love them! Finally, a dish that makes use of ground chicken but is not so far-fetched. I bake the wonton wrappers to save time and eliminate most of the fat. I am extremely pleased with this healthier version. Top tacos with cilantro, red onion, or sweet onion, if desired. Serve lime wedges on the side.
Homemade Grain-Free Dog Food
I developed this homemade grain-free dog food because my dog is getting older and his health has become more of a priority. I worry about how many nutrients kibble may lose through the cooking process. This food includes all of the vitamins, minerals, and essential fatty acids that my dog needs. It took me a bit of research to figure out what foods to use and in what proportions. The protein ingredients include liver and poultry (dark meat poultry is best), sunflower oil for linoleic acid, and 10 other essential amino acids that dogs need in their diet.
Chicken Koftas
These chicken koftas will turn out tender and moist no matter which way you choose to cook them—broiled, grilled, or air-fried. Beautifully seasoned with aromatic herbs and spices, they're perfect for summer eating.
Family Favorite Sloppy Joes
This is a simple recipe that was given to me by my mother. She served it when I was a child, and my family of 6 loves it too. Serve on hamburger buns.
Delish Sloppy Joes
This is a family recipe that lives up to its name. I love these Joes and haven't found any that taste the same.
Spicy Turkey Sloppy Joes
This twist on the classic comfort food makes for a yummy dinner and can make even the pickiest eater happy! Leave the spicy peppers out for a lower heat option! Make extra for leftovers, or freeze them for a quick night's dinner!
Sloppy Joe Hand Pies
Who doesn't love Sloppy Joes? And with this hand pie recipe you can take them on the run and eat them without the mess!
Barbecued Beef Sandwiches
This recipe came from a military wife almost 30 years ago (thanks Elise) and it couldn't be much easier. Simply combine all ingredients and cook for 3 hours, then shred the meat. Serve it on buns of your choice...and then sit back and take in the compliments! Everyone loves this recipe, and I've used it at fund raising events with great success! Excellent with potato salad or coleslaw.
Dallas-Style Sloppy Joes
These sloppy Joes feature zesty sauces and fresh veggies.
