Beer-Marinated Deer Jerky
Lean deer meat (venison) is marinated overnight to perfection in beer and then dehydrated to become jerky. While this jerky recipe takes time to make, it is relatively easy and well worth it. My whole family loves it, and I bet yours will, too.
Spicy Beef Jerky
Yummy high-fructose corn syrup-free beef jerky!
Air Fryer Oven Buffalo Chicken Jerky Sticks
If you love Buffalo chicken, then you'll want to dehydrate some jerky to take with you on your next hiking adventure or camping trip. Store in an airtight container. After 3 days, refrigerate any leftover sticks for up to 5 days.
Matt's Jerky Recipe
I use Matt's jerky recipe for all of my elk, venison, and beef jerky, with excellent results. After making the jerky, I freeze or refrigerate it to prolong its shelf life.
Best Beef Jerky
This best beef jerky combines knee-weakening flavors of seasoned, lean, tender beef strips with savory, sweet and salty yumminess! Once dry, store in a cool, dry place, in an airtight container for 2 to 3 months.
A Jerky Chicken
A great Jamaican style dish. A spicy blend of herbs, vinegar, and a habanero pepper make this chicken dish unforgettable. Serve with rice, yum!
Swen's Smokehouse Beef Jerky
While messing around one night trying to figure out a new recipe my husband created this and everyone loved it!
McKagen's Beef Jerky
My husband and I wanted to start making our own jerky, but couldn't find a recipe here to suit our tastes, so I made up my own. It's not too strong, yet has a great after-taste. Enjoy!
Al Kabsa (Traditional Saudi Rice and Chicken)
Al kabsa was the first Arabic dish I ever made. It turned out extremely delicious and is a new favorite. Serve with fresh mixed cucumber, carrot, lettuce, and tomato salad โ preferably with a little lime vinaigrette. Some fresh pita bread on the side would also be nice. Saudis like their kabsa with a hot sauce called shattah. Enjoy!
Fasoulia (Breakfast Kidney Bean Dish)
Fasoulia is a traditional breakfast served in many Arabic countries. It can also be eaten for lunch or dinner in case you don't have any meat on hand, as the beans are full of protein and fiber. Very delicious! Serve and eat the traditional way, by grabbing it with pita bread.
Backpackers' Instant Noodles
Homemade pad thai backpacking meal with full flavor! I love making my own backpacking food, and this recipe is creamy and full of perfect Thai peanut flavor. Remember you want to use a noodle that cooks in 5 minutes or less for your backpacking food. Cook time will vary based on elevation.
Mimi's Smoked Salmon Chowder
My sister made this smoked salmon chowder when we were camping in a rustic cabin on the Strait of Juan de Fuca that runs between Vancouver Island and Washington's Olympic Peninsula. It's very, very warming and delicious.
