Blueberry Simple Syrup
This blueberry syrup is a flavored simple syrup that is very versatile and goes with so many things. I especially like to put it on top of French toast or in pancake or waffle batter. It's also very yummy in cornbread or biscuit batter. This can be made in advance and stored in a glass jar in the refrigerator.
Dandelion Syrup
It has taken me years to perfect my dandelion syrup. Only use the yellow part of the dandelion blossoms, otherwise the syrup will taste bitter. I also try to use as little sugar as possible otherwise it only tastes sweet. It's a great honey substitute for vegans.
Lemon Syrup
This lemon syrup recipe is refreshing and sweet like lemonade. It's delicious on gingerbread with a little whipped cream.
Pomegranate Molasses
Pomegranate molasses is a syrup used in Middle Eastern cooking. It has a bright ruby red color, and its sweet and sour flavor goes well with so many other ingredients. It is commonly available in Middle Eastern markets, but is easily made at home if you can get pomegranate juice, now easily found in supermarkets.
Mini Sausage Pancake Skewers with Spicy Syrup
These tiny savory skewers are perfect for breakfast or a great addition to a brunch buffet. The spicy maple syrup drizzle kicks up the flavor and adds some zest to pancakes and sausage.
Red Velvet Pancakes
Red Velvet isn't just for dessert anymore. These decadent pancakes are delicious with mascarpone spread and some maple syrup.
Bacon Pancake Strips with Maple-Peanut Butter Sauce
Bacon and pancakes join together to create a fun, kid-friendly breakfast. The strips are easy for little hands to pick up and the sauce is delicious for dipping. The whole family will love this recipe!
Cornbread Pancakes with Fresh Strawberry Syrup
These are for sure the lightest, fluffiest cornbread pancakes of all time! By partially cooking the cornmeal before cooking the pancakes, there's no gritty or bitter aftertaste that you sometimes get with uncooked cornmeal. Serve with a dollop of homemade crème fraîche or sour cream.
Cream of Wheat® Pancakes
Stack those hotcakes high. They're made with Cream of Wheat® cereal, and they're chef approved!
Gluten-Free Buttermilk Pancakes
Traditional buttermilk pancake taste without the gluten; dense and fluffy at the same time. Using whole grain flours not only helps flavor and texture, but increases nutrition. The instructions take into account that some gluten-free flours are thirstier than others. The pancakes freeze well, too. Just pop a frozen pancake in the toaster for a quick breakfast or snack.
Oatmeal Rhubarb Pancakes
Fresh rhubarb from the farmers market inspired these hearty pancakes.
Overnight Oatmeal Pancakes
Sugar-free and no-added-fat has never tasted so good! This is a great way to jazz up your morning oatmeal on the weekend (or freeze it and enjoy yummy pancakes everyday!)
