Beer Shandies
Got a beer, a soda, juice, or lemonade, and a piece of fruit? Then you've got the makings of a pretty dandy shandy or a really refreshing radler. Popular in summer because of their lightness and low alcohol content, these easy beer cocktails work well with fall flavors, too. Here are a few combinations we love.

This beer margarita recipe sounds strange and dangerous; well, it's dangerous, but it tastes great! A salted margarita glass is optional.
Micheladas with Tajin
Micheladas came from the words 'mi chela helada' which translates into 'my cold beer'. Micheladas originated in Mexico and now there are many different recipes. Dark beer, normally XX Cerveza is the norm in Mexico, but you can use any beer you like. This is a basic recipe with optional add-ons. With or without them, Micheladas are delicious. Garnish with a tamarind candy straw and additional lime wedges.
Tajin® Michelada
I'm lucky enough to live in an area with a large Hispanic population and what seems like a Mexican restaurant or taqueria on every corner. They each have their own michelada recipe, and this is my version of my favorite. Maggi®Jugo seasoning can be found in the international aisle of your grocery store or Hispanic markets and provides an umami flavor. You may substitute soy sauce if necessary. Add more hot sauce if you prefer!
Coronarita
This Coronarita recipe is a sassy margarita-type drink. You can make it by the pitcher, which is easily doubled or more! So great for a barbeque or just relaxing in the sun on a hot summer day!
Radler
Radler means "cyclist" in German. This refreshing German lemonade-beer drink recipe was invented in the late 19th or early 20th century to refresh bicyclists worn out by the summer heat. It is a 50/50 or 60/40 mixture of beer and lemonade and is a delicious addition to the menu of your summer barbecue or party.
Beermosa
This two-ingredient beermosa cocktail recipe combines beer and orange juice, offering a change from traditional mimosas, which use Champagne or Prosecco.
Summer Beer
This summer beer recipe is actually lemonade, but with a kick! Use a light beer and your favorite vodka to make this refreshing, crowd-pleasing cocktail.
Pink Summer Beer
Summer beer is a refreshing summertime cocktail that's great for special gatherings or cocktail parties. This recipe was given to me from Dottie, a long time friend and sorority sister. Garnish with lemon slices and sprigs of mint.
Raspberry Rosé Wine Slushie
Rosé wine blended with raspberries, ice, and a little bit of triple sec makes for a delicious slushie recipe on a hot day!
Chef John's "Sunset" Michelada
This spicy, savory, tangy, amazingly refreshing beer-based cocktail is considered one of the best hot-weather, adult beverages ever. I've heard it described as 'Bloody Mary meets Mimosa,' which makes me never want to go to brunch again, but it's also kind of accurate. You can use tomato juice or make your own using fresh cherry tomatoes.
