Summer Fruit Galettes
Here's a quick fruit galette recipe for a beautiful summer dessert. I love to use fresh peaches, strawberries, and blueberries, but frozen fruit should also work. It will look like you spent hours making this fancy 30-minute dessert. Pairs great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

This hearty Dutch oven beef stew loaded with vegetables is so simple — sear the beef, add the remaining ingredients, and simmer until tender.
Dad's New Zealand Mince Stew
Hmmmmm... I'm not sure if it's chili, or stew or a shepherds pie without the crust, but there is nothing like it over some toast on a cold night, rich and hearty, just downright yummy if you ask me. We always experiment a little with our ingredients but it always comes out great. I'm thinking of going and making a pot right now, oh and it's even better the days after you make it, just go ahead and microwave some, put it on baked potatoes, roll it up in bread, use it anyway you like.
Beef and Lentil Stew
My mum is German and she would make this filling beef and lentil stew recipe during the winter. We all loved it, so I thought I'd share!
Homemade Beef Stew
A homemade beef stew recipe for the stovetop. This traditional stew is good eaten from a bowl or poured over biscuits. Substitute lamb and voila!... Irish stew! If thicker stew is desired, add more cornstarch and/or take the cover off for the last 15 to 20 minutes. The longer this simmers, the better! Vary the herbs to your taste.
