Known as doenjang jjigae in Korea, this simple fermented soybean paste soup with tofu is tasty, easy to make, and full of vegetables like zucchini, onions, potatoes, and mushrooms. It's a true Korean recipe that's usually served with rice and other side dishes. Garnish with sliced green onions.
Fried Kimchi
Kimchi is a popular Korean side dish featuring fermented cabbage. Other vegetables can be used and applied with the same fermentation process to produce a similar taste and different textures. In this recipe, I fry some kimchi to completely alter the taste and texture for a smoky doppelganger! It is so great with Korean barbeque and with plain old rice. It is certainly one of my favorites and so easy to make. Enjoy hot or cold! Sprinkle sesame seeds on top as a garnish.

This quince jelly is an old family recipe. Quince is a fruit related to apples and pears โ it has a bright flavor but is quite tart. This jelly is the perfect way to use quince fruit.

These hamantashen are the easiest I've ever made. They are a bit sweet, roll out easily, and are consumed quickly. My kids don't want to give them to their friends! Traditional fillings are prune and poppyseed, but you can use any canned pie filling, whole fruit jelly, chocolate chips, or any type of filling your family likes. Be creative with these โ we put mini chocolate chips in the dough.
