Rich and Gooey Avocado Brownies
Avocados and honey provide wholesome sweetness and creamy texture to these rich and gooey chocolate brownies that are prepared in a snap.
Righteous Raspberry Brownies
Raspberry brownies are easily the best kind. They are soft in the center with a crust on the top. Oh, and who could forget they also have chocolate chunks and fresh raspberries, too! The recipe is simple: measure everything into one bowl, mix, add raspberries, and bake! I use fresh raspberries out of my garden, though I am sure you could use frozen if you drain off some of the liquid to avoid skewing the recipe's proportions. Try not to eat the whole pan at once!
Easy Grain-Free Almond Flour Brownies
I love a one-dish baking recipe because it cuts down on mess and clean-up! Unlike some gluten-free or grain-free baked goods, these almond flour brownies have a pleasant texture. Experiment by adding your choice of nuts, flavored chocolate chips, and different flavor extracts. Top with icing if you wish. At Christmas, adding crushed candy canes and 1 1/2 teaspoons mint extract makes for a nice holiday treat.
Oreo-Stuffed Brownies
This is great for a sweet tooth! Kids love it! Also great for a quick dessert if you have friends or family over!
Cabbage and Broccoli Slaw with Vinegar Dressing
This cabbage and broccoli slaw with vinegar dressing recipe is a light version of coleslaw because it doesn't have a heavy mayonnaise dressing—but it's still delicious! It's best if refrigerated overnight.
Asian Broccoli Slaw
This Asian broccoli slaw is a delicious, tangy side dish. It tastes even better if you chill the slaw overnight.
Coleslaw With Grapes and Spinach
Different version of coleslaw I came up with because my husband HATES carrots. Everybody loved it! Great both crunchy or soft. Add more grapes to cut the onion if the onion is really strong. You'll be amazed!
Donna Leigh's Creamy Broccoli Slaw
Donna Leigh's creamy broccoli slaw recipe is delicious! It's a combination of several recipes I've tried with my own tweaks. I've used different ramen noodle flavors, so feel free to experiment based on your tastes.
Trees, Seeds, and Beans (Broccoli Slaw)
I came up with this broccoli slaw side dish when I was trying to clear the fridge out prior to leaving for a vacation. Grabbed what I saw, stirred up a bowl, and gave it a cheeky title based on some of the cute terms my daughter uses for food. I used lite mayo and Splenda, and I'm sure it would be great with full-fat mayo and sugar. Saved the other half-can of garbanzos for tossing with a salad. I also used half fresh, half frozen broccoli (as that's what I had on hand), and it was all tasty.
Incredible Turkey Brine
This turkey brine imparts amazing flavor and keeps it moist no matter how long you cook it. The allspice berries give this recipe a unique taste. Kosher salt is the best option for any brine, but you can substitute 1 cup table salt. I used this brine for a turkey that took 7 hours to cook, and it was still one of the juiciest turkeys I ever made. This recipe makes enough for a 17-pound turkey.
Savory Chicken Brine
Brining a chicken with soy sauce makes a juicier and more flavorful chicken. Great for baked, grilled or fried chicken.
Crispiest Buttermilk Fried Chicken
This is without a doubt the crispiest chicken you will ever prepare. I have made it time and time again to wonderful reviews. We love Popeyes® chicken and this puts it to shame. This is great for family picnics and so much cheaper than buying take-out. Yummy!
