Tropical Tiramisu
Ah, nothing like the sweet taste of the tropics! Using my leftover coconut bunny cake I created a tiramisu featuring the tropical flavors of pineapple, mango, ginger, and macadamia nuts. My cake was a white cake but a leftover yellow cake would work just as well. Sliced almonds can be substituted for macadamia nuts.
Salmon 'Tartare' Spread
Start everyone with a glass of bubbly and this Salmon 'Tartare' Spread served on kettle-style potato chips, sesame crackers or toasts.
Overnight Cinnamon Rolls I
Make the night before, rolls rise in the fridge overnight and bake the next morning. Easy and delicious. Enjoy!
Stuffed Leg of Lamb
Rolled leg of lamb stuffed with spinach, goat's cheese and pine nuts. Suggested: Serve with Brussels sprouts cooked in butter and fresh garlic. A scrumptious Irish cuisine that is sure to please!
Pistachio-Crusted Rack of Lamb
This pistachio-crusted rack of lamb has an interesting flavor and texture. A rack of lamb may be a little pricey but no more so than other special-occasion meats like prime rib, beef tenderloin, or goose. And because it's sold completely trimmed, you'll have virtually no waste.
Peanut Butter Easter Eggs
I make these wonderful chocolate-covered peanut butter candies in the shape of eggs at Easter time.
Capirotada (Mexican Bread Pudding)
My mother made this capirotada every Easter and Christmas. It was always a big hit! Nuts add a lovely texture. This sweet spiced bread pudding is delicious served warm or cold.
Gnocchi Primavera
Potato gnocchi with wonderful crisp vegetables and basil make a delicious, rustic meal.
Vegan Yogurt Sundae
Somewhat healthier than an ice cream sundae, completely vegan, and easy to make with just a microwave, a fork and a few small glass bowls.
Rose Ice Cream
Go on, indulge yourself with this inspired combination of rose and saffron. Serve this ice cream for dessert to your guests next time you host a party and wow them! Cashews and almonds also go well with this ice cream.
Gajar Ka Halwa (Carrot Halwa)
Carrot halwa, or gajar ka halwa, is a traditional Indian dessert that's deliciously rich and creamy. This recipe uses whole milk, not condensed milk. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for a real treat!
Indian Chaat-Inspired Potato Chip Salad
We're making chip chaat! This Indian street food often features crispy fried things topped with all kinds of amazing garnishes. It's by far one of the most delicious foods in the world. So, I decided to try that same approach with potato chips, and I love how this came out.
