Pup-Cakes
These are nice cupcake treats for dogs that I made up for my dog Presley's 4th birthday. They are perfect for dogs with food allergies. Warning: they don't look pretty, but Fido will love them! These freeze well, and you can zap them in the microwave for a nice, occasional dog snack.
Easy Dog Cupcakes
Healthy alternative for purchased pet treats. Easy and they love them. To serve, break into pieces for treats depending on size of your fur babies. These treats freeze well. Optional: When cool, dab 1/4 teaspoon peanut butter on top of each cupcake, just enough to hold a small biscuit treat, as shown in photo. Freeze without additional peanut butter and biscuit.
Doggie Birthday Cake
This dog birthday cake is super fun to make. I made this for my dog, and she ate it all up. The honey is optional, but it makes the cake a sweeter treat for the dog. And yes, I tried some — it's pretty good.
Birthday Cake for Your Cat
This is a fun cat birthday cake with tuna fish you can make for your favorite feline!
Birthday Bones
These cookies are great for your favorite furry friend. Every dog I have given these to loves them. It is nice to use doggie type cookie cutters, like bones or fire hydrants.
Peanut Butter and Carrot Dog Treats
These tasty dog treats made with crunchy peanut butter, grated carrots, pumpkin puree, and applesauce make great gifts for your dog-owning friends. You can use larger cookie cutters to make biscuit-sized treats or smaller ones, if needed, for training purposes. Store cooled treats in an airtight container for up to 1 week, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Poochie Meat Cakes
My dogs absolutely love this meat cake! I have four dogs, ranging from 5 to 17 years old (terriers of all sizes). After the big dog food scare, I didn't want to take chances, so I tried to figure out a healthy recipe for them. I wanted something with all the nutrients and fat they need, and this is what I came up with. The nice thing about this recipe is that it can be eaten by humans as well.
Best Friend Doggie Biscuits
This is a dog biscuit recipe my Pembroke Corgi loves to eat again and again! For more fun-shaped treats, use cookie cutters with shapes like cats, fire hydrants, shoes, or bones.
Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie
Chocolate chip pecan pie is a Thanksgiving tradition at our house. With a ready-made crust and a super simple filling loaded with buttery pecans and sweet chocolate chips, this delicious pie is ready in just one hour to set front and center on your dessert table. Top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Sweet Potato Pie with Pecans
This is the perfect Thanksgiving pie. Sweet potatoes and pecans make such a wonderful combination. And everyone know it wouldn't be Thanksgiving without pie.
Low-Carb Pecan Pie with Almond Flour Crust
A delicious alternative with an almond flour crust for those following a low-carb plan, or just trying to cut back on sugar. Great for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Derby Pie
This Dery pie recipe is a variation of a pecan pie that blends chocolate chips and bourbon to make a rich and very tasty pie. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream.
