Hot Irish Whiskey
My best friend, who just happens to be Irish, made this hot Irish whiskey drink for me one cold night in Chicago, and since then, I have been hooked! Warning: It is very potent. Just one of these will warm you up and basically make you good for nothing afterward โ what a treat! It is super to drink at night if you have a sore throat. My friend said this is what the Irish drink if they don't feel good, but don't wait until you have a cold to try this recipe!
Whisky Tea
This is how my grandad makes his cups of tea. He's in his seventies now and drinks whisky like he'll never get hold of it again. This drink is very relaxing and a great way to sedate family members and friends.
Sazerac Cocktail
There's a lot to love about this whiskey and bitters beverage recipe. The official drink of New Orleans, the Sazerac cocktail, is every bit as aromatic and flavorful as most anything else from down on the bayou.
Easy Homemade Whiskey Sour
I'm not a fan of store-bought sour mix, so I came up with my own version.
Sazerac
An oldie but a goody, Sazerac is one of the world's first cocktails, invented in New Orleans in the 19th century.
Irish Coffee Cocktail
This classic Irish Coffee is the ultimate balance of strong, hot coffee, rich Irish whiskey, a touch of sweetness, and a luscious cream topping. This cozy cocktail is perfect for chilly evenings!
Cherry Smash
This cherry smash recipe is a variation of a whiskey cocktail. It's a sipping drink and so good. Super swanky and very retro with a modern take. It's my new favorite cocktail.
Grandma's Apple Pie 'Ala Mode' Moonshine
This delish apple pie moonshine made with apple juice, apple cider, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla vodka tastes just like apple pie ร la mode!
Lillet Sours
Lillet sour is a citrusy springtime whiskey cocktail that is perfect for entertaining.
Hot Toddy
This hot toddy recipe is great to make for a relaxing evening drink when you need something to warm you up or help relieve that irritating cold.
Oolong, Orange, and Whiskey Punch
Balanced with orange and a light touch of spice, this punch is whiskey-forward without being overpowering. For a nonalcoholic version, omit the whiskey and add a bigger splash of club soda.
Classic Whiskey Sour
A classic lemon whiskey sour should be made from scratch, or it ain't a whiskey sour. For a cleaner, classier-looking drink, strain the lemon juice to remove seeds and pulp. This cocktail can be served in martini glasses or tumblers full of ice.
