Sweet and Sour Meatballs (Suan T'ien Niu Jou Po Lo La Tzu)
I grew up in Japan, and my Mother got this recipe from some Catholic nuns there during the 50's. It's been a family favorite ever since. If you're a vegetarian, try this sauce with vegetables only. It's wonderful that way also!
Cocktail Meatballs
These tasty cocktail meatballs will disappear quickly at your holiday party. My mom makes them every year for New Year's Eve, and now so do I. These do very well in a slow cooker, as you can simmer them before serving and keep them hot for the duration of your party.
Boudin Balls
These boudin balls have a textural contrast between the crispy outside and moist, savory inside that is a wonder to behold. The taste is just as impressive. Intensely flavorful and satisfying, these boudin balls would win any Big Game food table on which they appeared. Hint, hint. Serve with remoulade sauce.

Salsa Borracha (Drunk Salsa)
Salsa borracha is a special salsa that you can serve with Mexican tacos, fajitas, chicken, or over eggs. I am from Mexico and we love it. Leave the seeds in the peppers for a spicier salsa. Viva Mexico!
Toe's Best Salsa
This is the best homemade salsa I've ever made. If you love restaurant-style salsa, look no further!
Tomato Salsa without Onions
My mother-in-law loves Tex-Mex but has an onion allergy. After several attempts, I invented an authentic-tasting salsa without onions that derives some of its smoky flavor from roasted poblano pepper. I've taken to roasting the peppers in bulk so I can always have some on hand.
Fresh Salsa
I love salsa. I always make it. I made this raw salsa recipe and brought it to work. Everyone raved. It is the best salsa I have ever had. The jicama really makes a difference.
