These Buffalo chicken wontons are an American spin on the classic Chinese wonton. Everyone loves them!
Ham Roll Ups
These ham roll ups have a flavorful filling of Cheddar cheese and cream cheese. Green onion adds extra flavor and color. You'll get plenty of requests for this recipe!
Cream Cheese Pickles
These tasty snacks are whole kosher dill pickles that are covered with cream cheese and wrapped with thin slices of deli beef.
Spinach Roll-Ups
I got this recipe from a co-worker after having them at a baby shower. They are absolutely wonderful, even if you're like me and NOT fond of spinach. These spinach roll-ups are so easy to make.
Chef John's Crab Rangoon
While not 'authentic,' these crispy crab and cream cheese wontons are one of the most addictive, delicious, and crowd-pleasing appetizers ever created. That is, if the filling has enough crab in it. I'm using a 1 to 1 ratio of crab to cream cheese.
Bacon-Wrapped Water Chestnuts
These bacon-wrapped water chestnuts are simply delicious!
Easy Chicken Flautas
Flautas are also known as rolled tacos. These tasty chicken flautas are the best. I learned how to make them, and my husband loved them.
Sweet Coated Pecans
Sweet-flavored candied pecans with a cinnamon twist.
Glazed Spicy Cinnamon Pecans
This makes a great gift. Put pecans in mason jar and tie lid with ribbon or raffia. My family and friends love them and request them every holiday. Easy and inexpensive gift. Adjust spice to your liking.
Instant Pot Cajun Boiled Peanuts
I love boiled peanuts, but in the past, they've been a hassle to make. You have to soak them in water overnight, and then you have to wait for the giant pot of water to boil; the water evaporates, so you have to add more water every hour, and then every time you do that, you have to wait for the water to start boiling again. I knew there had to be a way to simplify the process, and this Instant Pot Cajun boiled peanuts recipe was the solution. While it still takes time, the method is hands-off, and they cook more quickly than the 8 hours it takes to soak them overnight using the stovetop method.
Mexican Pinwheels
These Mexican pinwheel appetizers feature chicken, cream cheese, and Cheddar. They are fast to assemble and loaded with Mexican flavors! The heat will sneak up on you, but it's tempered by the cool cream cheese.
Old-Fashioned Roasted Pecans
These roasted pecans taste just like they do at the fair. My ex-mother-in-law lives in the South and has lots of pecan trees. She sends me bags of shelled pecans every year for Christmas. Even though they use big roasters at fairs, these turn out just as great.
