Cabbage Ramen Salad
So refreshing and colorful! Great as a side dish or a salad on its own. A 'slap-chop' works great if you have one. When I bring this to a party, I keep the oils, veggies, seeds, ramen, and sugar in separate bags until it's time to mix and serve. It tastes better to me when I don't mix the sugar with the oil right away.
Angel's Cabbage Salad
This easy, no-mayo coleslaw comes together effortlessly with a bag of shredded cabbage and a sweet, tangy dressing. Marinate it overnight for a refreshing, flavor-packed side dish that's great served cold.
Sweet and Sour Slaw
This is a great recipe from my mother, who is German, for a vinegar based marinated slaw using no oil.
Red Cabbage Slow Slaw
This slaw takes days to make, so it's hard to keep up with having it ready for my family! We eat this several times a week! This goes great with my husband's Texas BBQ!
Quick Jicama Slaw
This jicama slaw has an awesome blend of flavors and textures. The apple adds some nice sweetness and the dressing has just the right amount of flavor with a tiny bit of heat.
The Best Red Cabbage Salad
This red cabbage salad is perfect for potlucks!
Simple Mexican Coleslaw
This Mexican-inspired coleslaw is a great twist on a BBQ classic!
Picnic Marinated Summer Slaw
This picnic marinated summer slaw recipe has such a summer taste! It came from a neighbor, who got it from a sweet lady at her church. It's a refreshing, easy-to-make tweak on typical slaws and tastes even better after marinating for a few hours.
Claremont Salad
Great marinated salad recipe. Perfect for a barbecue, picnic, or potluck. This is one of my long-time favorites.
Hot and Sour Slaw
Bok choy is in the cabbage family, and is very popular in China. In this recipe, it is shredded to resemble a coleslaw, but that is where the resemblance to that creamy classic ends. This dish is very spicy and full of flavor. It not only tastes great, but is strangely fun to eat. If you have chile paste, use 2 teaspoons of that instead of the red pepper flakes.
Asian Coleslaw with Candied Walnuts
This colorful coleslaw with shredded jicama is tossed with a citrus and ginger dressing then topped with candied walnuts.
Purple Apple Slaw with Peanut Butter Dressing
Rice vinegar, peanut butter, and ginger give an Asian-inspired flavor to a colorful slaw made with red cabbage, apples, and a bit of white onion.
