Dave's Coleslaw
This is a recipe I have worked on for a while and I think it is just about right. It goes well with just about anything from fried fish to hamburgers, and is to die for on a pulled pork sandwich. If you are going to use it with Q, reduce the amount of dressing you add to the cabbage so it's not too sloppy. For best results refrigerate over night to allow flavors to marry.
Cabbage Ramen Salad
So refreshing and colorful! Great as a side dish or a salad on its own. A 'slap-chop' works great if you have one. When I bring this to a party, I keep the oils, veggies, seeds, ramen, and sugar in separate bags until it's time to mix and serve. It tastes better to me when I don't mix the sugar with the oil right away.
Mayo Free Cabbage Salad
This mayo-free cabbage salad recipe is a different twist on coleslaw that goes over really well. It is based on a recipe I found in a cookbook, but I found it was much simpler to make this way, and people seemed to like it better as well.
