Spam Musubi
Spam musubi is a popular snack in Hawaii. It is a type of sushi that features marinated cooked Spam and rice wrapped with nori. I got this recipe from a local Hawaiian friend when I was living there.
Hawaiian Pineapple Chicken
I love this baked chicken with pineapple and brown sugar. The sauce is sweet and tangy! I serve it over rice and accompany it with green beans. This recipe was handed down to me from my mother-in-law many years ago.
Kugeli Comfort Potato Dish
This comfort food favorite has been passed down in my family. I remember getting so excited every time my grandfather would make it for us! Although I loved the way my grandfather made it, I've added a few flavorful ingredients of my own. You'll love the bacon, potatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, and bella mushrooms in a potato bake covered with melted Cheddar cheese. Even extra tasty when served with sour cream! This dish is an excellent side dish at dinner or a wonderful addition to a brunch!
Munn Cookies
These Jewish lemon poppy seed cookies are thin crispy cookies that are wonderful with tea.
Chanukah Cookies
These Hanukkah cookies are easy to make ahead so the kids can have fun decorating them in different ways for each night of the holiday.
Cinnamon Noodle Kugel
This noodle kugel recipe makes a velvety custard with eggs, cottage cheese, and sour cream. A cinnamon and brown sugar topping helps brown the noodles. With the perfect combination of crunchy and sweet, you will never want to use another kugel recipe again.
Sweet Noodle Kugel
This kugel recipe is the same style of kugel we'd get in a New York City area Jewish deli, and that my relatives would make for holidays. There seems to be endless variations of this noodle pudding now, but for me this is the authentic original version.
Spinach Kugel
This spinach kugel is moist, delicious, and very easy to make! My grandmother always made this wonderful kugel at every family dinner.
Noodle Kugel (Dairy)
This kugel is a slightly sweet noodle pudding. It can be served as a side dish, at brunch, or after a fast, such as Yom Kippur.
Pareve Corn Kugel
This slightly sweet side dish contains no dairy, and is a perfect accompaniment for all your main dishes! Cranberries add an unusual and delicious flavor.
Sweet Kugel
Kugel, a traditional Jewish noodle custard dish, is a mainstay of Jewish holiday meals. Defined as a baked pudding or casserole (usually from noodles or potatoes) this one is my own version of kugel, which is adapted from a few recipes to make one that we really love. This is a rich and sweet kugel although they also come in a savory version.
Lynn's Easy Noodle Pudding
Lynn's easy noodle pudding is super easy to make. It's a great dish to bring along for a potluck and can be served warm, cold, or reheated. The recipe was my late Mom's, which she brought to everyone's home. She was always begged by family and friends to please make it. It was, and still is, a staple at the holiday table for us.
