Animal Style Fries
Everyone knows that despite being freshly cut, the pale and soggy fries are In-N-Out's weakest point, but if you smother them in cheese, sweet caramelized onions, and In-N-Out spread, they're magical. So replacing the sad fries with crispy frozen fries really is an improvement over the originals here. Spread is just a basic sweet and tangy burger sauce with mayo, ketchup, relish, a little sugar, and a little vinegar. The onions are really the stars here - soft, sweet, and jammy. Be sure to serve immediately as soon as the fries are cooked - the residual heat of the fries and the onions is what melts the cheese.
Oven Fries II
This is a very easy recipe, and it's much lower in fat than traditional fries.
Roasted French-Style Potatoes
Something a little different from the usual oven fries. I first had these at a tiny restaurant in Montreal and really wanted to replicate their recipe; it's not exactly the same but fairly close. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do.
Loaded Greek Fries
Get a head start on this dish by using frozen French fries for a quick and fresh weeknight meal. There will be smiles all around the dinner table.
Air Fryer Loaded Greek Fries
Air-fried french fries loaded with Greek flavors. These are great on their own but also pair nicely with lamb, steak, or chicken. Cheese is a must for loaded fries but since feta doesn't melt, I incorporated it into the tzatziki sauce.
Carne Asada French Fries
French fries topped with my favorite street taco and smothered in queso. Loaded fries don't get much better than this. Don't forget your favorite hot sauce.
Oven Fried Potatoes II
Potatoes, wedged, rolled in a mixture of lemon juice and oil, and baked in hot oven.
Air Fryer Garlic-Parmesan Potato Wedges
This cooking method, along with a little oil and Parmesan cheese, makes these potato wedges come out nice and crispy. I used garlic powder and Italian seasoning, but your favorite seasonings can be substituted. Add salt if you must, but the Parmesan cheese provides plenty of salt, especially for those of us who are trying to reduce excessive salt in our diets.
Cajun Home Fries
Make extra baked potatoes just so you can make these Cajun-spiced home fries for breakfast or a side dish the next day!
Curried Cottage Fries
Potato wedges with a kick! Great for those who love curry.
Air Fryer Copycat Nacho Fries
Nacho fries may be on the Taco Bells menu one minute... gone the next, so I created an at-home version AND did it using the air fryer. If you are still inclined to deep-fry, double the amount of seasoning as most will get lost in the hot oil.
Truffled French Fries
During dinner at the W. Fort Lauderdale Hotel, truffled french fries came with our meal. After asking the ingredients, I came home to make them myself. A fun, very delicious, yet high caloric treat! Be sure to buy high quality truffle oil at an Italian or specialty market. My recipe calls for red potatoes, but frozen (shoestring-size) fries do cut down on time and taste almost as good.
