Apple and Honey Sorbet
This is the sorbet I served on Rosh Hashana meal between first and main course. It is white flecked with bright green, tangy from the green apples, and sweet with honey. Fresh and fabulous. Shana Tova! I recommend eucalyptus blossom honey, easily found in Israel.
Banana and Peanut Butter 4-Ingredient 'Ice Cream'
I always make this banana and peanut butter 4-ingredient 'ice cream' for my family! It is a great recipe for vegan and vegetarian diets, just replace the peanut butter with organic peanut butter or another nut butter. Substitute water for milk if desired. The more milk you add, the thinner and soupier your ice cream will be. Serve it with sliced fresh fruit or handmade whipped cream.
Fruity Fun Skewers
I was looking for a different way to serve fruit at a party, and it just popped into my head: why not make fruit skewers?
Huckleberry Buckle
This huckleberry dessert is a family recipe from my husband's mom and grandma. I like it better than traditional cobbler. This works well with blueberries and blackberries also.
Mango Gazpacho
Serve this intriguing variation of gazpacho at your next summer gathering.
Chilled Cantaloupe Soup
Very refreshing cantaloupe soup, served chilled. Great for luncheons. Garnish with mint if desired.
Warm Berry Compote
This berry compote is made in a slow cooker with frozen berries and orange juice. It's a yummy dessert by itself or over ice cream.
Banana Tempura
This is the quickest and easiest recipe for banana tempura. Serve with your favorite ice cream.
Red Hot Baked Apples
These Red Hot baked apples are an old-fashioned, oven-baked dessert that everybody loves. My mom always baked apples, but I added the Red Hots because I love them.
Spiced Apples
I'm not sure where this spiced apples recipe comes from, but I make it for holiday dinners and always receive compliments.
Sweet and Silky Strawberry Sorbet
Unable to find the perfect sorbet recipe, I made my own. This sweet, soft strawberry sorbet rivals any brand in the grocery store. Most homemade sorbets resemble an icy slushie, but this one is thickened before freezing, yielding a melt-in-your-mouth treat that will please even the pickiest sorbet lover. It's dually great because it can be made in an ice cream machine or your regular freezer.
Chocolate-Banana Tofu Pudding
This delightful, guilt-free tofu pudding recipe can be whipped together in just 5 minutes. It's a dessert suitable for everyone, vegans and chocolate lovers alike. The banana and chocolate completely mask the tofu taste, no one will guess your secret!
