Peanut Butter Balls
The recipe for these peanut butter balls came from my 96-year-old neighbor, Mrs. Lucille Savage. She still makes them at Christmas, and now I do, too. Peanut butter balls are always a crowd favorite with a hardened chocolate coating and a smooth, creamy, melt-in-your-mouth peanut butter filling. This recipe delivers an unexpected but delightful crunch, thanks to the addition of crisp rice cereal. Decorate your peanut butter balls with sprinkles or other candy coatings just after dipping, or drizzle melted chocolate over the top.
Mulled White Wine
I prefer to make mulled wine with white wine because I think it gives a smoother flavor. This recipe has a little rum added at the end for a bit of a kick!
Coquito Coconut Eggnog
This blend of coconut and almond milks accompanied by cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg with loads of rum is such a delightful drink, reminiscent of eggnog but much lighter will sure to be a knockout at your next holiday party!
Knifton Christmas Eggnog
This creamy dessert drink is a great holiday party treat!
Cozy Mulled Wine
Feel all warm and fuzzy this festive season with this satisfying mulled red wine that's quick and easy to make. Ladle into glass or mug, trying not to get the seasonings in it, and drink up!
Swedish Glogg
Authentic Swedish spiced wine. This Swedish glogg recipe is from Great Aunt Freda, brought from Sweden in the early 1900s.
Mulled Wine (Vin Chaud)
This is an easy mulled wine, or vin chaud, recipe that fills the house with an amazing aroma.
Broccoli Cheese Soup
This broccoli cheese soup is very flavorful. It's great for serving at luncheons or special gatherings with a quiche. To make it a little fancier, add 1 cup sliced mushrooms and 1 cup white wine with the onions.
Tom and Jerry Mix
This Tom and Jerry mix is a wonderful hot Christmas beverage similar to a warm eggnog.
Basic Coquito
For years, my family and I have been searching for a good, traditional-tasting coquito recipe. After having tried the whole egg yolk thing, simply adding ingredients to regular eggnog, and others, I found the best-tasting to be the most basic. This recipe ensures everyone at the party gets a taste, but you may want to double the recipe, because most will not settle for just a shot's worth.
Turkey Carcass Soup
A turkey carcass soup is the answer when you don't want to waste a single bite of turkey. This is a hearty and delicious soup and one of my favorites.
Herbs de Provence
This herbs de Provence recipe was developed after looking at many different recipes. It's my version of the classic dried herb seasoning that tastes great in salads and on fish, chicken, beef, or pork. The fragrance is amazing!
