Fried Olives
Toasted walnuts and bread crumbs give flavor and texture to these fried olives.
Cheese Stuffed Olives
Will definitely impress others! To fill the olives, use a pastry bag or plastic baggie with the corner cut out. What works best is a cookie press. Also, you can use bottled roasted garlic, but I like to make my own.
Greek Feta And Olive Spread
Feta cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and black olives come together as one in this full-flavored Greek dip. Serve it on toasted triangles of pita bread.
Creamy Olive Dip
Serve with assorted breads, crackers, or vegetables.
Olive Puffs
These puff pastry-wrapped olives are our family's favorite holiday appetizer. We make them with a variety of olives - pimento stuffed green, plump kalamata, Provencal - just make sure they are pitted. We like to use strongly flavored olives; the flavor of canned ripe olives disappears in the puff pastry. You can make these ahead, and freeze; allow 30 minutes for the pastry to thaw before baking. Another advantage: the kids like to make them and eat them.
Stuffed Olives
A delicious appetizer for the holidays that is easy to make and requires no baking time!
Fabulous Olive Salsa by James
Our friends James and Jayden had us over for some backyard entertainment and served this delicious dish up. We managed to talk them into handing over the recipe. Mess with the mix and quantity of olives to suit your taste.
Air-Fried Olives
These fried olives are salty, spicy, crunchy, and very addictive. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping if desired.
Cheddar and Olive Balls
This olive ball recipe is based on one from a famous Virginia colonial tavern. I've had much better success with this recipe than the one published in their cookbook. It's great for parties, picnics, or potlucks. It also freezes well (uncooked) for quick prep anytime.
Three Olive Spread
This three-olive spread recipe was given to me by a co-worker for the holidays. It is best when made with olives purchased at a deli. Serve it with your favorite crackers, sliced baguette, or thinly sliced Italian bread.
Olive Pecan Spread
This delicious green olive and cream cheese spread is a hit with everyone. Even people, like me, who don't care for green olives absolutely love it. This is my most requested recipe. Try it! You won't be disappointed.
Baked Cheese Olives
Rich cheese dough surrounds a savory olive in these hot cheese olives that make a great pick-up appetizer or snack. You can freeze the unbaked, dough-wrapped olives and bake them right out of the freezer, extending the baking time by a few minutes.
